CLOSED-Fall 2019—Focus on Surface Design with Steve Palmer, M 6:30-9:00, 6 weeks
This class is full. If you would like to be on a waitlist in case someone drops out, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This 6-week class will provide students with the opportunity to explore and develop a variety of techniques and designs on samples and on their own work. Using a wide range of methods like stamping, fabric and underglaze stenciling, sgraffito, water etching, and carving, students will create layers of color and texture that relate to the form of the pot or sculpture. Use your own leather-hard work you bring to class or make during Open Studio.
Many of the supplies will be provided, but bring any tools and brushes you normally use. If you need a few tools, check out our shop when you come to class.
