Glaze Like you Mean It with Patrick Gibson

If your forms are developing nicely, it's time to concentrate on glazing. Nothing Guarantees a big disappointment than a poorly glazed pot. Patrick will guide you to better glazing in this 4 hour workshop through demonstrations, discussions and time to glaze up to three of your bisque fired pots with Patrick's Help. You will be using our cone 6 studio glazes.

Requirements:	To get the most out of this workshop, you should have three bisqued, cone 6 pots to glaze
Instructor:	Patrick Gibson
Instructor Bio:	My focus is on creating ceramics to enhance our everyday rituals. I create work in stoneware, primarily thrown on the potter?s wheel, seeking to strike a balance between durability and aesthetics. I favor clean lines with minimal surface design and use simple glaze combinations to enhance the forms. Handles and rims enhance functionality by being pleasing to hold and drink from yet they are durable enough to stand up to daily use.

Fee includes the use of our studio glazes, wax and firing for up to three pots each. Refreshments will also be available.
