WINTER WORKSHOP: Making Wheel-thrown Critters with Nan Rothwell

Hand-builders aren't the only ones who can make animals. YOU can find out how to throw a creature in this fun one day workshop with professional potter Nan Rothwell.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: Participants should be able to center clay and throw a small bowl. (But if throwing isn't for you, Nan will be happy to provide some basic thrown forms - transforming them is the fun part!)
Materials Included: Please bring your own tools, clay, and a sense of humor.
Requirements: The workshop will start at 9:30 am and finish at 4:00 pm, including a half-hour break for lunch. Standard City Clay Covid restrictions at that time will apply. Bring a bag lunch; City Clay will provide drinks and snacks. If you are enrolled in one of our winter 2023 classes, firing services apply. If not, please bring packing material so you can take your leather hard critter home to fire elsewhere.
