SPRING 2023 (May): Taking a Closer Look with Kevin Crowe

This 2-day workshop is for students with competent skills on the wheel who want to improve the quality of their pots.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: This class is for those with intermediate or advanced wheel skills. The ability to throw large pots is not required.
Materials Included: Refreshments are provided throughout the workshop. Please bring your tools and clay. You can also purchase cone 6 clays and tools from our shop.
Requirements: We will fire work made in this workshop for those who are also current CityClay students. If you are not a current student, you may bring your own clay and boxes so you can take your work with you at the end of the workshop
Instructor: Kevin Crowe
Instructor Bio: Kevin Crowe wood fires Asian-English inspired pots. He has taught workshops throughout the United States and Great Britain focused on wood firing, large-scale throwing, and tea bowls. Kevin lives in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia with his wife Linda and studio companion/dog Tem.
Price includes refreshments. Students need to bring their own clay and tools or they can buy what they need from our shop.
