This Multi-Level Wheel class is for students with basic to advanced wheel skills. Patrick will tailor the class to the needs of individuals and the group including basic skill practices for new students, refinement of skills for experienced students as well as lessons on more complex processes for those who are ready. Instructor: | Patrick Gibson |
Instructor Bio: | My focus is on creating ceramics to enhance our everyday rituals. I create work in stoneware, primarily thrown on the potter's wheel, seeking to strike a balance between durability and aesthetics. I favor clean lines with minimal surface design and use simple glaze combinations to enhance the forms. Handles and rims enhance functionality by being pleasing to hold and drink from yet they are durable enough to stand up to daily use. |
