Skill Details: Intermediate and Advanced Wheel classes are for students with good basic throwing skills who can throw a 6 inch cylinder.
Materials Included: The class fee includes aprons, towels, and a shelf for your clay and supplies.
Requirements: To protect our kiln clay must be purchased form our shop. We have our own studio glazes for you to use, and we have a wide variety of commercials glazes available. Instructor Bio: Tim makes pots intended to provide users with meditative moments and respite. He studied ceramics at the University of Utah as well as Utah Valley University. Currently he is a full-time apprentice at Tye River Pottery under Kevin Crowe. His pots are fired for seven days in a wood kiln. Tim enjoys the process of inlay. Inlay offers an exchange of energy between himself and his work, that can be felt as the subtle details of his pots are explored.
