WINTER 2025: Intermediate Wheel with Patrick Gibson, 10 weeks, Wednesdays 9:30am - 12:00pm; January 8 - March 12

This Intermediate Level Wheel class is for students with good basic wheel skills and beyond. Patrick will tailor the class to the needs of individuals and the group including skill refreshment and refinement of skills for experienced students as well as lessons on more complex processes for those who are ready.

Skill Level:	Intermediate
Skill Details:	Students will work on refining their skills through review and the exploration of more complex forms. Students MUST have good basic skills, this class is not for beginners.
Materials Included:	The class fee includes aprons, towels, and a shelf for clay, tools and projects.
Requirements:	To protect our kilns, clay must be purchased from our shop. We have our own studio glazes for you to use, and we have a wide variety of commercials glazes available. We do not allow any other glazes or underglazes to be used in our kilns. Your are welcome to bring your own tools or buy new ones in our shop.
Instructor:	Patrick Gibson
Instructor Bio:	My focus is on creating ceramics to enhance our everyday rituals. I create work in stoneware, primarily thrown on the potter's wheel, seeking to strike a balance between durability and aesthetics. I favor clean lines with minimal surface design and use simple glaze combinations to enhance the forms. Handles and rims enhance functionality by being pleasing to hold and drink from yet they are durable enough to stand up to daily use.

This class fee includes 10 class sessions, aprons, towels, and a shelf for you tools supplies and projects.
