WINTER 2025: Multi-level Wheel with Malenka Luckett, 10 weeks, Thursdays 9:30am - 12:00pm; January 9 - March 11

Malenka will tailor the class to the needs of individuals and the group including review of basic skills as needed, refinement of skills for experienced students, and lessons on more complex processes for those who are ready. A mixed group of students is a great opportunity for new students to learn, and for returning students to work on their own level and at their own pace.

Skill Level:	Intermediate
Skill Details:	Students will work on refining their basic skills, developing new skills and working on more complex forms. Students work at their level and pace.
Materials Included:	The class fee includes aprons, towels, a shelf for your clay and supplies.
Requirements:	To protect our kiln clay must be purchased form our shop. We have our own studio glazes for you to use, and we have a wide variety of commercials glazes available. We do not allow any other glazes or underglazes to be used in our kilns. Your are welcome to bring your own tools or buy new ones in our shop. Beginners may borrow some studio tools, all others are asked to have their own.
Instructor:	Malenka Luckett
Instructor Bio:	Malenka Luckett has been making pots at CityClay since 2015 where she is currently the Studio Manager. She has a BA in Studio Art and Art History from Ashland University and an MFA in Printmaking from Ohio State University where she also taught in the studio art foundations program. Outside of the studio, Malenka spends her time gardening, camping, and paddling the rivers of Central Virginia.
