Winter 2026: Wheel, Multi-Level, Tuesday Evenings with Harry Moxley, 12 weeks
This class is for those experienced beginners looking to improve their throwing and glazing skills. This class is open to anyone who has taken one or more Basic Wheel classes and who wants to advance their skill set.

| Skill Details: | Basic wheel classes are for learning the process of throwing pots on an electric wheel. From wedging clay, centering, pulling walls, shaping, and trimming, to decorating and glazing, you will gradually develop the basic skills you need to make food safe pottery. |
| Materials Included: | This 10-week class meets once a week and includes a shelf for your clay, tools and projects. |
| Requirements: | To protect our kilns, clay must be purchased from our shop. We have our own studio glazes for you to use, and we have a wide variety of commercials glazes available. We do not allow any other glazes or underglazes to be used in our kilns. Your are welcome to bring your own tools or buy new ones in our shop. Beginners may borrow some studio tools, all others are asked to have their own. |

| Instructor Bio: | Harry has been making pots since 2005. A filmmaker and digital media professional for 30 years looking for a new creative outlet, Harry stumbled into pottery after visiting Clayfest, an annual event presented by the Baltimore studio Clayworks, and has been hooked ever since. |
