If you?are new to clay this is a great place to start.?Basic?Hand-Building is particularly good for absolute beginners and anyone with little experience who wants to start from the very beginning. Students will learn various techniques for working with solid forms, hollow forms, and flat slabs of clay for a?variety of pots?and sculptural details. Surface design techniques like water etching, decals, stamping, carving, and glazing will be covered. Not only will you be designing from the first day, but you will develop?a feel for clay and what can be done at different stages in the process.?
