2. How can you control what happens in the firing?
3. Do you want to make your own glazes?

This class will cover safety issues, the composition of clay and glaze, melting various materials, making glazes from scratch, mixing established recipes, and testing-lots of testing. Fear not, this is a lot more fun than your high school chemistry class.

Prerequisites: Students should be on an intermediate or advanced level in either throwing or hand-building.
